Herr Oppermann (DJ)
(Rappelkiste / Tach & Nacht)
Grown up with the sound of the 80s, he discovered early a passion for electronic music, influenced by artists like Jan Hammer or Kraftwerk. With his passion for house, electronic sounds and mixing, he had gigs in various clubs and festivals all over Germany – e. g. the „Sonne Mond und Sterne“ Festival (DJ Contest), the Juicy Beats Festival or the famous „Warehouse“ in Colgone, as well as a residency in the Club „Electroosho“ (Göttingen). In the late 90s he was on air with the radio show „Kingz of Beat“, which was out of the legendary Stammheim Club building. After a short break he continued his work in 2009 under the name „Herr Oppermann“ as a part of the „Rappelkiste“ as well as the „Tach und Nacht“ Label crew, both based in Hamburg.
His style is „changing, but always House“ and varies between deep- and techhouse and minimal up to soulful house. Herr Oppermann combines classic parts of house music with the influence of modern minimal house elements. More than 20 years of experience, his passion for electronic music and his motto „house is a feeling“ led his sets to be a special event – always changing and never the same.
